How we write

We publish one technology explainer a day. Here is exactly how each one is made, so you can judge how much to trust it.

1. Choosing the topic

Topics come from what people are currently asking about in technology, and from a list of questions we keep about how things work. We only cover how technology works — not company gossip, business news or politics.

2. Research

Facts are gathered from public reference material, official documentation, standards bodies, manufacturer pages and established technology publications. Every link we cite is checked automatically to confirm the page exists before the article is published. Sources are listed at the bottom of each article.

3. Writing and AI use

Articles are drafted with the help of AI writing tools and then checked against the research notes for accuracy, clarity, completeness and originality. Drafts that fail those checks are rewritten or dropped rather than published. We say this openly because you deserve to know how what you're reading was made.

4. What we will not do

5. Corrections

If something is wrong, email business@techdcoded.com. We correct the article, update its date, and note what changed. Reader corrections are welcome and we act on them quickly.
